Now for Part II of Mexican Comic Literacy Week. Today's edition comes from the "El Libro Policiaco" series:

The story begins on a dock in NYC, where a rich guy named Stone Borg brings his trophy whore with him to board his new yacht and depart for the Bahamas. Meanwhile 2 other guys (blond ponytail Marty and Johnny Bass) are out to try to steal BMW. Johnny Bass carjacks a guy driving one, and shoots and kills the owner. The body is later found by a girl wearing a tube top and short-shorts, who calls the police. Detectives Ray Pearson and Chio Penk come to the scene.

It turns out that Borg was friends with the guy who was murdered, and his girl recommends that they call her manager Roger Freeney and ask him to send flowers on their behalf. Freeney is on his way to the "Pantasmo" titty bar, and meets up with *gasp* one of the guys involved with the car robbery (blonde ponytail Marty)! Freeney is involved with the bad guys! Freeney recommends that the idiot who shot Ross during the robbery (Bass) be killed for his stupidity. Marty does so as Bass comes out of a hotel following a quick meeting with a whore.

The cops call in Borg on suspicion of his involvement and he has to fly back from Bahamas. It turns out that Freeney implicated him, and Borg is arrested and put on trial. But THEN it turns out that blond ponytail guy snuck onto Freeney�s computer the previous night and obtained damning files about all the car thefts. So Borg Stone is set free and buys new cars for all the detectives.

* Note: There is a woman wearing some sort of white teddy and holding a tiny dog on the cover. This woman did not appear anywhere in the story.
